The Cast: The Chronicles of Narnia Prince Caspian

Family Reunion

Making a full scale movie like Prince Caspian is a journey in itself does not – only physics that took hundreds of thousands of miles of filmmakers across two hemispheres, but also a spiritual journey and emotional family members of the film.

With mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters, sons and daughters, husbands and wives, and far from home for almost a year complete, 600 of the film company and more members bonded closely, sharing both work and play, to create not only a friendly on set environment during the seven long months of shooting, but we expect something more than the sum of its parts – something all can hail proudly when the lights dim, the projector blinks, the film unspools, and their collective movie magic enchants the public around the world.

Since production began a year ago at this mid-February morning in Auckland, there stood Andrew, the lanky director, alongside his Pevensie clan like a proud father with his children, home for the holidays. Although it had been just two years after the end of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, his film family had, indeed, matured, both physically and emotionally. Their patriarch grinned with pride in the progress.

There they were, anticipating their forthcoming experience and joy to relive the past – Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy, in the costumes of actors William Moseley (now a handsome 20 years old), Anna Popplewell (freshman from Oxford back stamp), Skandar Keynes (with voice octaves much deeper at the age of 15) and Georgie Henley (approaching teenhood, a good six inches taller than the last time saw).

"They've all grown very well," Andrew beams of his young English cast. "It was good to see them back to a normal life really. They were excited to do this again, and this is like another adventure. There is a very positive change on growth, but I would say that the film had not changed what they are, so I am very happy. A lot of it is attributed to their parents. All are very good parents. "

"We are a unit very tight … A formidable four, you could say, "quips Will, the largest of the quartet. Anna adds," The dynamic between the four of us have remained fairly constant, which is great. I know it will all still be friends after completing the film. "

"I feel like the leader of the group?" the handsome, blond Moseley wonders when asked about the professional and personal dynamics of the four Pevensie actors. He responds proudly and without hesitation: "Definitely yes! "

"As I said before, I am the eldest in my family," he continues, "Anna is the oldest in hers, as also is the type of leader. Skandar is the youngest, but wants to be the biggest too. Georgie is the youngest too. We are a very strong unit. The parallels to our characters are simple – we're all playing ourselves, on the basis of our own lives, to show that we are equal to these characters. "

While reflecting back to the beginning of the long stem, Anna was not surprised by the changes in the cast, since last worked together, over two years. Unless such Once upon itself.

"What's nice is everyone has grown a little and changed a bit," he observes. "But I've probably grown less, I would say. Maybe that's only because I have not noticed the change in myself. "To which Andrew smiles and replies:" Anna's right. When I met had 13 years going on 40. Now is the 18 going on 40 ".

Perry Moore's wonderfully evocative book took us behind the scenes of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe where they first met these four relative unknowns, although vivid and memorable poetic portrait of actor Perry in each chapter. Let's look further in the lives of the four Pevensie children, now older and (hopefully wiser), as a company of his own private world of England back to a magical landscape that has changed dramatically since the first movie – like the actors themselves!
