Shogun BMX bike, raising the handlebars?
I recently got this bike, (not the exact image), and the handlebars are too low for my long legs, I'm not sure how to raise the handlebars up, I turn the big nut, bolt or whatever, or the four bolts really can not see in the image, can see two of them … http:// www.aaauctions.com/auctions/catalogs/7a5/7a5-013.jpg
The bike has a threadless stem direction. The handlebars can be raised. The 4 screws have the steering stem to the fork and the big nut at the top offers only preload bearing so the play can be adjusted. BMX biking you should be slightly bent to maintain good weight distribution. Your best option is to get a better handle if you really think they are too low.
