Obama takes a stance

Presidential candidate Barack Hussein Obama startled many supporters this Sunday when he took stances on key issues during a campaign speech .

Barack Obama said that he supports “same sex unions” but believes that they should be equal to a normal marriage. He further went on to say that he strongly supports abortion.

Obama believes that this makes him no less of a Christian. He went on to say that the parts dealing with homosexuality being a sin were “minor” parts.

Obviously, Mr. Obama understands little about the definition of the word “Christian.”

Christian
A follower of Jesus Christ.

He must have missed that “follower” word. Last time I checked, following does not mean facing the other direction. Nor does it mean using someone to gain favor with an audience and then rejecting all that they stand for.

Obama’s “Change” Lacks Substance

Change is in the air… I vote for change… We need change… Push for change… The future is change…

Barack Obama has been pushing “change” but nobody really knows what this”change” entails. Many people feel that all change is good. But who really wants a change for the worse.

Senator Barack Obama has proposed a ban on all Semi-Automatic weapons, an end to spying on terrorist activities, very heavy taxes on necessities like gasoline, a complete troop withdrawal from Iraq to destroy the progress we have made so far, a removal of the ban on partial birth abortions, etc.

He stands for everything that is wrong, evil, and destructive to America. But then again, a vote for Obama is a vote for that kind of change.

So what positive change does he stand for? I am glad you asked. Sean Hannity asked the same question to a number of Barack Obama supporters in the video.

A great summary of Barack Obama’s stances can be found here.

Be an active pro-life citizen

The following is from Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life:

Attend your precinct caucus Tuesday, Feb. 5!

The precinct caucus is the most important political event of every two years for pro-lifers. Why? Pro-life laws will not be enacted unless pro-lifers are active in grassroots politics. Only then will Minnesota’s pro-life majority win at the polls.

Precinct caucuses will be held Tuesday, Feb. 5, by Minnesota’s Republican and Democratic-Farmer-Labor parties. I urge you to attend your caucus to help elect pro-life delegates and to propose pro-life resolutions. Only a small percentage of citizens attend precinct caucuses, which means your single vote profoundly impacts public policy.

Electing pro-life delegates and alternates is your first priority at your precinct caucus. I urge you to support a pro-life platform for your party by becoming a delegate to your district or county convention.

Resolutions passed at the precinct level can become part of your party’s state platform. Any caucus participant may propose a resolution. Be sure to bring one or more written copies with you.

Sample resolutions

To find out where your precinct caucus will be held, go to http://caucusfinder.sos.state.mn.us/ or call your local county auditor’s office. All precinct caucuses begin at 7 p.m. Please dedicate an hour or two of your time to uphold the right to life by attending your caucus on Tuesday!
