I need to know everything that everybody knows about drag racing, tell all your information!?

Ok, so I have to go drag racing with my boyfriend and some of his family. I am interested in endurance racing, but I do not know much about him. I do not want to go tomorrow feeling stupid because I do not I know nothing about drag racing. Can you tell me everything you know about that? Im talking about how it is executed, the routine of it all. Please and thanks!
